Reusable, Eco-Friendly Bags – Alternative To A Safer Environment

Plastic, paper and cotton bags are probably the easiest and cheapest option when it comes to the transport of food and, powders, ice, chemicals and waste. Billions of single-use plastic bags are free of cost per day. This free one-time use bags seem to be of great advantage obviously but, as the old saying goes, nothing in this world comes for free. We pay for the use of each of these heavy bags with our environment and our future.

If we take into account the “cradle to grave” multiple effects and the effects of each of the phases of these bags' lives we will be able to illustrate the actual cost paid by our environment and the society for the volatile convenience of unlimited, free, single-use plastic bags.

First, the production of these plastic bags require a large amount of petroleum and natural gas. These materials production are non-renewable resources, and there is always a risk that unnecessary use of these drugs may lead to scarcity. Moreover, the process to acquire these resources greatly contributes to the destruction of sensitive habitats and ecosystems in the world. The production of plastic bags also requires a lot of toxic substances. These toxic substances in turn the production of pollution and adverse effects on the environment. Energy consumption necessary for the production of these bags is also enormous. This contributes effectively towards the warming of the earth.

These bags can be distributed free to consumers, but certainly not are released in stores. The American retailers only cost of an annual cost of about four billion dollars. When these bags are distributed, the costs are generally passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices for the goods they buy. So, although the concept of these bags seems to be free, in fact, they also have a number of financial issues which will eventually be borne by the end-users.

The removal of these bags littering and also threatens the environment and the future of humanity and all living forms. These plastic bags are often disposed off in the water or on land strewn. Thousands of marine life in danger as a result of this. Sea turtles, whales and other marine mammals often these mistakes plastics for food and eventually death. When swallowed these plastics choke if they block their bowel results in a painful death. The same is the fate of a few cows, goats and other animals boy who often end up eating pieces of plastic while foraging for food. Moreover, it takes nearly thousands of years for these pieces of plastic to degrade completely in the country. They break into tiny pieces and pollute the soil and water.

So we see that-despite the plastic creatures' free 'costs, there is a big price to be paid and indirectly threaten the mere existence of all living forms on the face of the earth. Mass movements take place across the world for the consumption of these plastic and paper bags because of their bad effects on the environment. Fortunately, we have seen the introduction of reusable, environmentally friendly and safe environment bags on the market. These bags are generally made of polypropylene. They are easy to produce, strong and can be made of different thickness or weight depending on the intended use. Bags made of this material are durable water repellent and avoid bacteria and scent. They are not affected by chemicals or solvents and comply with the FDA regulations.
